Purpose Of Nuka Cola Quantum
Hi guys, i'm not sure if this question has been asked on here already, but i can't seem to find it if has, but i was wondering if there is any use for Nuka Cola Quantum other than for healing and AP replenishing properties? I mean is there a Character like Sierra on Fallout 3 who wants to collect them, or are they simply for consumption?

Thanks in advance for the help!

yeah it sucks there no star caps or nuka cola collecters, buuuut instead of just getting rid of them why not visit goodneighbhor, in the hotel roxford or whatever its called some one will give you a mission to go get a protectatron that chills drinks, now if you put your nuka qauntum in him after you complete the mission then wait a while you get ice cold nuka qauntum, which is wayyyy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ better

Nuka Cola Quantum is just a powerful healing item.

you could collect them yourself. drop them, pick them up in workshop mode, and place them on a display stand, thats what im doing with my new playthough

It doesen't work unfortunately. I've tried it already with other items in my settlement, they never stay on the table, shelf etc etc.

The items will remain just as you placed them for aslong as you're in the settlement, but they will eventually fall off (or through) whatever you put them on. It will happen when you come back later on via fast travel.

it actually heals a lot, in the beginning of the game, it baisicaly heals 100% of your health.

I also discovered this the hard way when I found my awesome booze shelves in my kitchen that I took half an hour to stock to be totally empty and my floor scattered with bottles :( I hope either they fix it in patching or a modder does.

I just asked the same question in a new thread. After playing the third one I decided this time around to hoard them all instead of using them, thing is I haven't even seen a hint at a quest involving them yet and I'm around level sixty-five.

Mobs drop nuka grenades..I am hoping they are a recipe down the road...if not already in game....I have not gotten very far into the game at lvl 39.....just finished the "lost BOS" series.

Maybe the recipe is hidden somewhere, as I found a recipe for some food from a ruins, so there could be a chance of it.
Nuka Cola Quantum is the best AP aid in the game IIRC... unlike many others, the AP it restores is immediate, and is usually a massive amount of AP.

The healing is also rather high.

Personally, I never sell Quantum, and if there *was* a person to give them to as part of a quest, I'd probably not do it unless the reward was immense. Seriously, Quantum can be used to keep your Jet Pack fueled with AP perpetually, so long as you have more Quantum.
Yeah it would be awesome to have all the quantums stacked on a shelf, it's a shame they still haven't figured out how to keep items in position, ah well. Thanks for the responses guys, I guess I've got a lot of drinking to do!
(Begins to glow a faint blue)
