Report a translation problem
It doesen't work unfortunately. I've tried it already with other items in my settlement, they never stay on the table, shelf etc etc.
The items will remain just as you placed them for aslong as you're in the settlement, but they will eventually fall off (or through) whatever you put them on. It will happen when you come back later on via fast travel.
I also discovered this the hard way when I found my awesome booze shelves in my kitchen that I took half an hour to stock to be totally empty and my floor scattered with bottles :( I hope either they fix it in patching or a modder does.
The healing is also rather high.
Personally, I never sell Quantum, and if there *was* a person to give them to as part of a quest, I'd probably not do it unless the reward was immense. Seriously, Quantum can be used to keep your Jet Pack fueled with AP perpetually, so long as you have more Quantum.
