green highlight?? you mean your PIP boy light? change it's colour in settings, drag sliders all way to the Right for the pipboy colour :)

No, when you customize and mod power armor, the piece you are modding is highlighted.

oh, hit the X key (INSPECT) should show you a close up in real colour with all info :)

You can only do that after you modded it. I'd like to see what it looks ike before I waste materials on it.

Crafting Hightlight Fix

Removes the green shader overlay from workshop menus, so you can actually see what you're crafting, especially paints/colors.

Thanks. But damn how dumb is it that this requires a mod, 8 years later…. And what’s weird is this green highlight isn’t always active in the crafting station. Sometimes there’s only a green outline but you can still see the color.

Ok so maybe I just stumbled into a fix….i entered into the power armor crafting station and the selected armor pieces were highlighted solid green, meaning you can’t see the real color. I then exited the crafting station and brought up the settlement build menu, immediately exited the build menu and hopped back into the power armor crafting station and the power armor pieces are now only outlined in green, allowing you to see the color changed.

Someone else give it a try!
