Can I place a simple plank as a bridge?
I have two buildings in Outpost Z. that I can't move/scrap, but they could be very easily joined with a simple bridge to make it a much more functional settlement.

The concept is simple: place a couple of planks to bridge the gap, then I can extend the second building that I can't really reach otherwise. Is there any way that I can do this?

If not - how else could I do this? I have no room to put stairs to the upper floor of building B.

You could try using the floor w/ stairs and building wood floors up as close as possible to the 2 buildings, then removing all the stuff below the "bridge" and connecting it to the buildings with ladders.

It'd probably look pretty bad, but should be doable.

you can't place planks as a solid bridge, you can drop planks but as you walk on them, they'd move around. I am not familiar with outpost Z tho. So can't really advise.

Hmm I do recall knocking other "walls" apart in Hangman's Alley yeah, shame.

It's not that I can't reach the building tizuby (it's hard to vizualize that), but the two premade buildings are very close, so I can't actually fit any pieces between them. I have a similar situation with other places as well, where I can't attach new pieces to the default buildings. It would be a great way to put new beds in without making a whole new building.

Outpost Z is about 1/3 of the way from the top left of the map, slightly NE of Tenpine's Bluff.

Did you try using the 1/4 size floors? you can attach them to a doorway for nice bridges between buildings.

I had a bit where it /should/ have fit nicely, but for some reason I can't attach any new pieces to the existing buildings, real shame that. A simple plank to cover it was my next best option I thought, save some stupid settlers maybe.
