I read a lot of stuff on reddit that turns out be BS.
Course the same applies to forums everywhere.

If this is a thing, it is news to me.

Light bulbs do not recieve power from an actual cord. they just need to be hung within a certain proximity of any power source; be it a powered pylon, a generator, or even near wires that are actively powered.

Hanging light bulbs? You mean the ones that are available in the lights tab?

hanging light bulbs as in, they are "tied" to the wires going from pylon to pylon.

I know this, but there are pictures of the hanging lightbulbs almost being 'tied" to the chords connecting the pylons.

It just occured to me that they may have turned clipping off to hang them that way. If you place an object down in workshop mode, then turn collision off, and pick it back up, it no longer snaps to other objects. So they may have been able to use that method to "walk" the light down from one of the connectors along the wire and place it.

Not sure though.
