X-01 power armor AP regeneration rate is too slow

It's the different choices, it's all up on how you want to use the armors. If you're invested in VATS then by all means go with the t-60, you'll just be losing out on the extra armor threshold that the x-01 has. X-01 was made to just run around gunning people or meleeing them down with less frequent use of VATS. You could always invest in AP perks or weapon bonuses to balance out the X-01.

I've noticed that this only happen with T-60 armor, and I think it's because the chest armor.

With T-60 it takes 10:66 seconds to regenerate AP.
With X-01 about 18-19 (don't remember exactly)

It's a theme they have in the game: the more you invest in things that aren't fire rate or hip fire accuracy, the more your VATS gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over.

So, it's not a bug or something? It's meant to be that way?

It's just a choice of armor, you could always make a frakenstein power armor combining to balance out the AP but I mean a full X-01 suit isn't a huge disadvantage with it's slow AP regen than the T-60 unless you want to be in VATS alot.

You sure your T-60 just doesn't have that special upgrade that increases AP gain?

I'm sure, I don't even have any point in science or smthg.
Anyway, that upgrade improve regeneration by 1 second, not 10, I checked it too.

Haha keep the helmet or something, that's the one thing I like about the x-01 because the eye lights up when you turn on your flashlights.

Does the game actually show you anywhere that the AP regeneration rates are different with the different power armor pieces?

I also noticed that my regeneration in the X-01 seemed to be much slower than I remember, but I thought it might have been tied to something else about my gearing.

Aside from just observing it yourself is there any in-game reference to them being different? Like a stats screen somewhere or a piece of lore mentioning it, etc?
