There is no wire, how do I do it?

the only way i know is put a generator inside than put a conduit on the wall and run a wire into it. it won't work from outwside as far as i've been trying.

Connect the wire from the generator into the light source

Has to be outside also

When highlighting a connector whatever key should say 'wire', just connect that wire to a generator and put the light nearby and viola!

You need a generator, and then connect the generator to the light. Or, you can put wire to a power conduit and connect several around an area. They give off a small radius that you can put any lights in and they'll automatically get powered on, even through walls.

power conduit should be close enough. For example you can power the light inside of a building by putting conduits outside on the wall. Rest is tesla magic

hit space to attach wire to the codulit things u can place, i usually get on roof (power armor jetpack or build stairs then delete them) throw large pole on roof & codulits on 4 sides of roof, usually works

how? when i've tried this the power never goes through the wall into the house if you try to connect it from outside?

They will work from outside. Build a generator outside and place a conduit on the side of the house. Cancel the conduit out so you just have a free cursor in build mode and point it at the generator. You'll see a extra option pop up called "attach wire", press that and drag wire to the conduit, press button again.

Sometimes lights need to be picked up and placed again to recognize the power. Also some items need wires run directly to them.

Sometimes it doesn't work for no reason, but it should work :)

Other things work too like the power switch. They act kind of the same as a power conduit.

that's what i have been doing at the boat house but the lights inside on the 1st floor never light up?

It's weird sometimes. I've had to run conduits around the houses sometimes to get all the lights on.
Done it now, thanks.
Just put like 9 small generators in a little room.

Conduits spread power in a radial direction - Not very far either. A 3x3 house is going to have a hard time getting anything powered in the center tile.

I'm sure clever modders can tweak this eventually though - Be strong.

would be nice to see a power radius arc than to see where the power is and not.
