Game becomes too easy and boring :(
I started on hard and loved struggling through the eearly levels, then it started getting a bit too easy at around level 24, so I pumped it up to survival, got killed by a bloatfly and 2 bloodbugs awesome, but now 10 levels later survival is too easy as well and the game is boring again sigh .... why can't enemies scale harder?

Same issue here. I even installed a mod to make enemies do %500 more dmg and it still feels like a cake walk

download the survival mod, you can make your own survival, make healing items heal like 1% or make every aenemy a legendary

Don't use any legendary or named items. It really can make a difference (Freakin LOL the Deliverer. Lets people with 4 agility line up 16 consecutive Vats shots)

Honestly though, the biggest difficulty is enemy discrepancies. When you are in the 20-30 range you will be able to one shot headshot most things thrown at you, maybe two bodyshots. But then they mix in some guys that will tank 10 plasma shots to the face without even being legendary.

Gunners, man. If I could make a skin suit out of higher ranked gunners, it would render power armor obselete and not even a behemoth throwing boulders with mini nukes taped to them would hurt me.

Agreed, I also question the use of power armor when I got 12 lined up doing nothing for my play through.

OP, have you ever tried playing self imposed perma-death? Put it on survival mode, if your character dies then delete all of your save games.

That should dial up the danger for you a bit.

When everyone and their raider momma has PA, missile launchers, fatmen and heat seeking nades, the game has jumped shark into pure fps waters. Just look up every video on youtube and it is pure frenetic fps BS. The only thing that can kill me is if I get dotted with high enough poison and can't stuff everything down my throat in time to beat the dot, other then that I'd have to just play dumb and gimp myself so damn much if I wanted a harder game which I'm not going to load a 1 shot mod or make the game more damage/spongey. I'll just keep killing things easily on survival because it's a walking/massmurder simulator. Funny thing is I enjoy the walking simulator more, a lot more.

Voluntary honor system perma death is the best one.

Because then you get to keep playing when you fast travel to vult 75 to finish cleaning it out, and you die because it fast traveled you on top of multiple land mines that were not there before (See also: "Hey who shut this door, and put a tesla trap behind it? Not much of a defense if it doesn't spawn before I killed all of you, just on the return trip to finish looting you bodies")

Try playing a build your not comfortable with, I personally usually run and gun kiting things.

My current build is agi per luck
Sneak, Mr. SandMan, Ninja, Sniper, Rifleman, bloody mess, mysterious stranger

Slow cautious and sneaky is so not my normal play style but its fun and solving it a different way is interesting.

Bethesda games are generally front-loaded in terms of difficulty, since difficulty depends mostly on your gear, and due to the limited selection of gear available in most of the Bethesda games it becomes easy as soon as you get the "best" guns and the "best" armor.
To make the endgame challenging, don't use any endgame gear.

1 endurance + no armor run is also fun/challenging.

Except its not really justs endgame gear, its more of a mix of legendary weapon modifers, maxing out mods on the weapon, and using combat perks that just make the weapon itself overpowered. They all just don't really balance out together.

so glad enemies dont scale with you, hate that crap. I like that when u go to a place early on and you are way to low a level you get whooped and have to come back later. Witcher 3 did this, morrowind, gothic and risen,etc..
