[SPOILERS] Jamaica Plain Bug
I'm running into an issue in Jamaica Plain where I've killed everything within the larger general vicinity - even as far south as Hyde Park - but, when I try to use the workbench it tells me that the area is not clear of enemies. I've gone through every building systematically and even walked through the entire town spamming the V.A.T.S. key to see if maybe there were some mines or something I hadn't found. Anyone else having this issue or have a fix?

Having the same issue man. I have no idea. I'll look int possible console commands and get back to you.

Did you go into the building of the mayor? The one behind the statue. ( when you face the statue front side )
I dont want to spoil anything but, that house has a basement with stuff. I cleared that out and then, i was able to complete jamaica plain.
Yeah, I did that already, then exited the moyors building and explored the town further, killing a few more ghouls. Still hasn't 'unlocked'. All the guides I've seen just say that the area needs to be 'cleared of hostiles'.
Ok so after looking around, it would seem the clering Jamaica Plain is actually a Minutemen quest called 'Taking Point: Jamaica Plain'. I haven't yet advanced in that storyline to have encountered this one, so maybe i'll need to go to talk to Preston again.

Soem people were having issues with the 'Clear Concord' early quest, and the fix for that was to use a SetStage console command to auto-complete the quest. Problem is, Taking Point has an unkown quest ID # at this time. I think I'll mess with Preston first.

Use the console to resurrect a ghoul and then kill it again.

Also, some ghouls just won't wake up until you're right on top of them...until then they're neutral and won't show on your indicator. To get a good clear, you need to really climb over and under everything and VATS everywhere. The house with the church attached is crawling with biters that won't wake up until triggered.

I have no problem on this bug, I don't think is a bug at all.

I. Cleared. EVERYTHING. I even disarmed every little laser trap in case it considered those "enemies".

its on the second floor, the building next door to the garage will get you up there. I can see it from here.

To me its been the Ghouls in the second floor of the town hall building. I thought i had cleared it out, but somehow missed the ghouls behind the door. I tried a lot and also read a lot about this bug and couldnt figure it out, till i tried this. Even killed the protectrons and all and did the quest concerning the basement. Hope someone reads this it helps them out with this trash

This bug is still in existence. And it is a bug. Enemies that suddenly spawn in when you unlock the Mayor's Terminal in the Town Hall is nothing other than a bug. Not a feature.

Some enemies do glitch into solid objects such as the floor or solid buildings, so back in the day you used the console command tcl to get at them. Don't know if this is still valid, have not played in ages.
