Try verify game files, but this might break mods and tweaks you made.
If you don't like it you'll proberly have to wait for a mod to "fix" it.
I've used a stealth boy before and was able to use the pip boy?
Hmm, simple dev error, technically it does make sense though, your arm should be clear right?
I think it's only with stealth armor
When the creation kit comes out, I will make a mod that makes the screens appear but lowers your stealth majorly, will that make you happy? I think raiders would be freaked out at a floating screen
First of all, I really didn't think it was a bug, I just thought it was annoying, and my visual issues were partly because I simply have real-life vision issues.
Yes, I have mods installed, but it's not the reason for the problems. There is a mod that changes the textures of the map, but I still have the same problem with or without it.
The armor that I'm wearing is new, or newly modded -- it includes a Cunning Shadowed Leather Left arm, and a Chameleon Studded Leather Right Arm -- none of the other armor adds any kind of stealth
I know in the normal settings that you can only set the main color for the pipboy, which isn't helpful because the contrast remains bad and the brightness is blindingly high, regardless of the color scheme I select. But I'm wondering if there is some setting elsewhere where you can change the secondary color for it, so I can create a greater contrast and/or tone down the brightness. That mgiht actually be sufficient.

After unloading that map texture file, and resetting all of my video setting to the default, I get this instead: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=563212982
