So what kind of armor is everyone wearing in the Wasteland?

It seems the game is dead set in me being in full Synth gear, 3 of my parts have 1per/1agi to them, which is REALLY hard to let go of basically 6 free levels in stats, thankfully the armors are really good, being synth and all.

I wear heavy leather armor because I hate the look of synth, metal and raider armor.
I hope for mods that make more attractive outfits.

Greaser Jacket and Jeans with some Sprinter's leather legs. I spent too long making my character look like me and the greaser outfit is pretty much exactly how I dress in real life so my character really feels like me with this outfit. In short I will gladly sacrifice DR and Safety for my character to look like me haha.

I have mostly legendary pieces with +stats and legs have 2x 10% movement speed.

Sturdy combat armor with ballistic weave army fatigues. Along with a military cap and patrolman sunglasses.

****ing LOL at the Brotherhood NPC that meets you on the Prydwhen saying I don't look military at all. Son, I was in the army over a hundred years before you were born. My Army pants outrank you in seniority.

I've got most of a heavy combat armor set sitting in my workshop, but I don't have Armor rank 4 yet and I don't want to bother with the extra weight until it is far and away more powerful than sturdy combat armor, instead of just kinda stronger.

EDIT: Also, I dislike Synth helmets because I can't wear sunglasses with them. Even the normal synth helmet that does not block your eyes visually.

How do you have armor on top of your jacket and jeans? Thought that was an outfit with no armor options available, also, who else is annoyed that they did that and made some crap that looks like it could EASILY go under armor be 'armor'.

found some goodie armours that give increased resistances the lower your health, after stacking two of them im wery hard to get below 30 % health.......

Minutemen General's Uniform, 45 DR and 80 ER and only has a weight of 5. Also the most important part, it looks cool.

I would like to use fortifying pieces and a martyr piece but i have had no luck obtaining them

I want to go full sturdy or heavy leather eventually, but at the moment I've got normal leather arms, sturdy combat chest, sturdy leather legs and a ballistic weave minuteman outfit. The option to add armour to normal underclothes is great.

All shadowed because black looks better and topped off with a military cap.
