Need power armor helmet

I was chillin in my brand newish set of power armer when a death claw lifted me up, and tore a piece of.

I killed him because hes an idiot

now I need a new helmet.

where do I find one?

You can repair the broken helmet at a power armor rack. The broken armor pieces go into your bag space

If the item broke and still is in your inventory, it can be repaired at a power armor station. However, if it was simply jacked, then you will have to roam the wastes hoping that a high level enemy has a helmet or find a set of armor out randomly in the wastes. There are at least 12 locations that have been discovered to have a set of T45, T51, or T60. A simple google search will aid you if you choose to look for a new set of armor.

like said above...just repair the helmet, it gets unequiped when its hp hits 0 and is in your inventory. Not destroyed for good.

Plus just find a new set of power armor somewhere if you want more helmets/different models of power armor helmet.

If you REALLY want to make sure you get a helmet when you next find a power armour frame (you could find one just with a torso and leg piece for example...missing a helemt all together) you can easily increase your chances of getting different power armour spawn. I made a quick guide that explains it

but just play...you will find plenty eventually

P.S to repair go onto power armour station with enough material needed to make the repair (mostly just steel) and you can select the broken/damaged pieces and repair, then simply re-equip them onto the frame.
