Main Menu/Screwdriver going too fast
Seem to be having this issue where in the main menu if you attempt to use the arrow keys to navigate the options you click it once and it speeds through the menu like 2 times insanely fast yet once in-game it doesn't seem to do it.

Another major issue being that when I attempt to pick a lock the bobby pin works just fine but when I attempt to turn the screwdriver (w) it moves so fast it breaks the bobby pin almost instantly and has made it so that I can't lockpick because I just ruin bobby pins.

This has become /very/ frustrating and I've yet to see anything about this specific problem and plus being able to pick locks is a rather essential part of the game soooo, halp.

I have the exact same problem since I upgraded to Windows 10, also markings on my compass are sometimes (partly) dissapearing. This seems to be the case in more games than only Fallout 4, as GTA V also has a bit of minimap glitching when it comes to, luckily, GPS roadmarks.
I am bumping this one since I literally can't find any other similar question/answer.

I may have found the solution to this, since it works for me.
In both Fallout folders C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and G:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4
There is a .ini file called Fallout4Prefs, you might have put a line under [Display] in there bForceIgnoreSmoothness=1, either one of the .ini files has the same line but with a 0 instead of 1, or somehow you put it double in one or both of the files by accident.
Both .ini files need bForceIgnoreSmoothness=1 under [Display].

your fps is too high?

the fps in game is tied to the engine physics speed.

so if you dont cap your fps @ 60, or 72(for 144hz monitor) then the physics go screwy

one possibility...

Maybe VSync is deactivated for Fallout4.exe. Check the Nvidia control panel > 3D Settings > Program Settings and you should find the V-Sync setting. If VSync is already activated, go on this topic: https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/496880503082940401/.
