No idea, especially since it's a misquote meaning searching for the actual quote wouldn't bring this up

Edit: Whoops, nevermind it wasn't a misquote. I usually just skip text, so I haven't heard what he says in a long time, and I heavily rely on the subtitles, which are surprisingly wrong a lot

It means "what are you doing?" literal translations from japanese to english are usually wrong or sound funny. The grammar is completely different

なににしますか - literal translation, "do you want to do?" Is that right? That sentence never seemed right to me, but my Japanese is terrible ... Google says this is correct ----> "Anata wa ikutsu ka no men o kaitai nodesu ka?" (do you want to buy some noodles?), but Google translate sucks too. Edit: OH, okay - I took it apart to translate which sometimes works better - なににしますか translates to "What will you do?". That makes more sense - I knew I didn't see the word noodles in there, hahaha!

Google translate does apparently figure for order and intonation, editing a Japanese phrase in the middle makes it go nuts.

If you carefully type, with no error, 'nani ni shimasu ka?' it will immediately return "What do you want?".

Why not? People are still playing the game. Why can't we talk about it? Don't like it, don't read it. ;)
