Open the console with the tilde key, then type this in and hit enter;

player.AddToFaction 00058303 1

You should now belong to, and be allied with, the Gunner faction.

For Raiders, use this code;

player.AddToFaction 0001cbed 1

You should now belong to, and be allied with, the Raider faction.


Also, this command;

setally 00058303 0001cbed 1 1

Will set both Gunners and Radiers to Ally with each other as factions.


This can be done with literally any faction in the game.

If I may add, you can totally 'be a Raider' with the Nuka-World DLC.

Not only do you build up Raider Settlements (including all their blood-covered items around), you also can attack, literally, your old Settlements you built up in the world (if you built them up). You can enslave the Settlers to be nothing but farmers for your Raider Towns, or you can just kill them all and live there with Raiders, attacking anything that gets near (or in your way as you travel).

If you are too far into a game, re-roll/restart and try being a jerk the entire time, talking badly to people and stealing everything around and killing everyone you see and totally be a Raider .
