Deathclaw Gauntlet Weapon?

- Can you find a Deathclaw Gauntlet in the open world? (Except the one after completing a special quest). Wiki says near Atom Cats Garage, but cannot find it.
- Can any Legendary Enemy drop a Legendary Version of the Gauntlet or just Legendary Deathclaws?
- Can you mod the Legendary Deathclaw Gauntlets like the normal version of the Gauntlets? (Adding an additional claw)

Have you done the Parson asylum quest? There are a few on Raider Beserkers in there. and yes it can be modded for an additional claw but you can't use it in power armor.

I got 2 drops: 1 from a deathclaw and 1 from a raider. You can modify them.

I've found two in the hands of some random enemies at level ~50. So yes, they can be found randomly.

I also just found one a few minutes ago, random drop from a raider.

I found one lying around on a corpse. (Don't read if you don't want to know where:) It was in Jamaica Plains, on the right side of the map.

@Peanits: Where exachtly can I find it? Killed every ghoul & completed the quest there, looked on all the skeletons but still cannot find it. Are you sure it wasnt a drop?

Ive had it drop randomly in loot, even had a legendary one drop in loot.

Actually i found one in the dirt randomly. if you are in diamond city you might hear 2 people talikg about the musem of witchcraft. when u get there return the egg to the deathclaw nest and youll find a gauntlet there.

I got a "regular" deathclaw gauntlet with a lowlevel (9-11) melee char at "that certain quest".
<spoiler contains information and advice for that quest>
the tricky part is reaching the Museum of Witchcraft in the far east of the map, but it's doable. Watch out in Lynchwood though.
There is a very strong deathclaw in the museum, but you can simply outrun it; I ran to the questpoint to get the note, ran back to the cellar door (the deathclaw can't enter it and will turn back to the main room), read the note and ran to the egg. Don't forget the magazine in that room, too.
I left the museum afterwards and never got hit by the deathclaw.
--> bring the egg to the original nest (not Diamond City) and you'll get your deathclaw gauntlet. The Deathclaw at the original nest is friendly.
