I have found a lot of potential places for a settlement, but they can't be used :(

Type "player.placeatme c1aeb" into the console to spawn your own functioning workbench (open console by pressing the button directly under escape).

Yea I know about that, but I seen users on here mention that spawning a workbench just anywhere can cause problems.

TBH been scouring the map the last few day to find places like these. Against knowing better I want to give a random base a try (since I'm testing with my current character, why the hell not I'd say :D')

Shall have a look at it to see if it's a good contender, but I've had quite a few spots not make the criteria for me (looking for it to be at least 2 blocks on the map away from a regular settlement, it shouldn't have enemy spawns within the perimeter, random encounter spots are OK, needs a bit of water, and most important of all: has to be pretty on the scenic department :D)

My current 2 spots I found that would work is the north bank of Lake Quannapowitz (prolly spelled that wrong) & the Concord Museum (but just to piss the captives inside off :D 'we tried here, but waahwaahwaah lvl1 raiders'))
