Have no hacking skills

Can't hack at Arcjet systems. I could if I had leveled up to hacking skills. I couldn't know I needed this skill until I got there. Now I can't open a door without this skill. Cheat, by-pass, etc? I am effectively stopped right now. I suppose I could break off from the mission and go somewhere else. That seems amazingly lame. Besides there is no guarantee that I wont lack some level skill at the next location. One more question. I have a load of stuff. Can I sell it anywhere?

You should look around the room...for another terminal...one that isn't password locked. hint hint

I don't know exactly which terminal you're having trouble with, but I don't think you're ever actually FORCED into hacking/lock-picking. At least, I made sure not to improve those skills on my last character and all I've missed out on was a little extra loot.

Try looking around. Sometimes there are holotape passwords. Failing that, bring Nick along. I think he can hack terminals for you.

If there is a place you need to hack or a lock to pick to move on there is always a hidden password or key somewhere in the area you CAN reach.

Nah, you are never required to have hacking or lockpicking skills in order to complete a quest. Like the others said, there's always some kind of alternate way you can access what you need to.

If not, it's more likely than not that it's just a room with some extra loot - nothing you'll need to complete quests with.

what others have said, since lockpicking and hacking are now perks. There are always ways around them for the main missions

A few companions have Master level hacking (and some have lockpicking mastery also - some have both). You won't get the XP, but you will get the terminal hacked.
