I just followed orders and inserted the network scanner inside the Institution hoping it could find a weakness about the Institute , BUT I WAS NOT HOPING that it WILL REVEAL the fact that Paladin Danse is a SYNTH

Is there anyway to bring him back !?

I'm in the point of my save game where Paladin Danse will be leaving Commonwealth and will be heading out to the border and gave me his Holotags to prove his death ?

If you have high enough charisma you can convince him to stay, and convince Maxon to not kill him or you.

He won't rejoin the BoS he just stays in the common wealth and will still be a follower for you.

I think the only way to keep him as a companion is to wipe out the Brotherhood of Steel after accepting the quest, at which point you can simply say there's no threat and he'll stick around. Not sure. There has to be a way to keep Buzz Lightyear a companion, broken as he is, because he's funny.

Meh I dunno. I did the dialogue checks to keep him around just to see what would happen and then reloaded and killed him. I figured since he says he'll have to leave the Commonwealth that he just vanishes from the face of the Earth. Still, it's good if you can keep him around.

My Charisma is level 10 so yes , those Orange dialouges worked . Looks like I chose the wrong ones . I'll reload my save game again and brb .

Things I said that had orange/different colour dialouges

• Explain Himself to Maxton
  
• Losing A Friend to Danse
  
• Telling Haylen that I had doubts about not kiling him

*EDIT* what are the appropriate dialouges and where should I start ?

Just say oh you are my friend you felt human emotions you still have work to do ect ect.

When Maxon shows up just go to bad for Danse, eventually you will get an option to say some ♥♥♥♥ like he saved a crap to of brothers while he was a synth

Thanks !! Wew . I thought I'd lose him there . Convinced Maxon that he lived cause he saved a lot of brotherhood lives

I convinced Danse to stay, but whenever i speak to him because i want him as my follower so i can get his perk he just says "you are one hell of a soldier"
For some reason i can't ask him to follow me again.

i talked to him, tried to make him to stay, i tol dhim that i'm not sure if he is human or synth and he nearly bagged me to kill him i'm still thinking i did the wrong option :/

Anyone tried the the option to spare him with Maxon I mean in the conversation where you'll get the order? I think you need a high charisma (it's red if I remember right). Btw haylen won't like you if you shoot him.

i tired it, i only had 6 charisma (just for local leader) and had no luck (nearly quickloaded it for an hour until i gave up xD)

Walk out of the Bunker after talking to Danse and you will find Maxon standing outside . Then at there , your CHARISMA skills matter and try to convince Maxon that Danse is a human etc etc . And Danse will be banished from the BoS and considered dead ~ After that comeback to teh bunker after a few quests and you will have him back as a companion :D

I have the same problem! It's so annoying. I wanted to get all the companion perks, but he won't let me ask him to be my companion. I haven't finished the quest officially -- I don't want to pick a faction yet. Is that the problem? He won't be my companion until I do? I hope not, the BoS hates him now.

I'll try again after a quests days, see what happens... If any companion idolizes me, it should be him! I really wanted to convert him to the Institute's side, that would have been fun. But he's hard-wired to be Brotherhood of Steel, apparently, even if they'll shoot him on sight.
