Transparency bug?
Weapons and stuff on the workbench are a little bit transparent, i remember them not doing this at the start of the game but not for whatever reason they always are, its kinda distracting.

Sometimes it happens on my arms/weapon too (in first person) while walking around buildings, and the edges of floors and walls are showing through my arms.. Not invisibility or anything just slightly transparent like a bug.

Any idea why? And anyone else?

I have the same problem, that's strange. Did you install some mods?

Mainly texture changes, glowing bobbleheads and magazines. Rifle damage rebalance, craftable ammo. Some texture mods.

All of it was apparent before any mods though, it was fine for the first idk. 20 hours of gameplay maybe then it started bugging out and hasnt gone back since.

Same here about the mods. I'll try to uninstall all of them and tell you about the results.

Nope, that's most probably an engine bug. It wasnt caused by the mods. I noticed the presence of fog caused the weapons to appear even less. Could be linked. Or not.

Wonder if it shows up on a new game?

Sorry to necro, it seems like this is related to the workbench being in a lot of unnatural light, if tested this a bit with workbenches outside, inside, with lights and without, both outside and inside (day and night), looked fine if there where no placed lights nearby.

Thanks! :)

THIS ISSUE IS CAUSED BY LIGHTING.

If you have Lights directly over head of a work bench any weapon while modding will become Transparent!
Solution is to turn off lights or move them.

That makes sense!
It seems to also be sometimes caused by ENB, maybe changing ENB settings related to light wold solve the problem!
Thanks
