Am I ever going to find any other clothes to wear besides the "Road Leathers"?
I picked the Road Leathers in first 15 mins after I had left the vault. After that, in 40+ hours, I havent found replacement, and I am getting somewhat annoyed!

The armorparts system is cool, but thanks to it, the main appearance of my character doesnt change barely at all. Almost all of the clothing are not compatible with the armor parts, and the few rare ones that are besides Road Leathers, are some Raider Leathers etc that look even crappier.

I`d just want to wear my Tuxedo with the armors dammit! I dont mind about the stats of the clothes - I just want to change my looks every 10 hours, or at least every 50 hours.. .>< ;

Btw, I also bought a "Destroyers Helmet" that was gave a very good protection and some + to int and cha I think, but after wearing it long I got annoyed about it too and now just go without head protection. Destroyers Helmet gave good protecition, but because I now can see my character in conversations, I dont want him to look like he is wearing a silly toilet on his head.

I wear the military fatigues with my armor.

Brotherhood Uniform, Long Johns, the various Vault Suits, the various Fatigues.

There's enough options, I think. Though I haven't found anything with better stats than the BOS uniform.

Military fatigues here and also BOS officer uniform, both look pretty good with combat armor to me.

There are several other outfits you can wear that are compatible, as well as a mod on nexus that makes all outfits compatible.

However, there is nothing in the game that will protect you better than the suit you start with. (without the mod)

Fallout New Vegas and even Fallout 3 just had so much better looking armors/clothes. You could look like a badass in those Vats slowmotions with your long jackets, not like a raider junkie with steel taped on his shoulders.

i played it around 60 hours and always used vault 111 suit with some armors on it. game is pretty easy on normal i didnt feel like i should wear heavy armors and such stuff. Also i like blue :)

minuteman outfit, military fatigues, road leathers, raider leathers, harness and I think the railroad armoured coat are you options.

If you work with The Railroad, you will eventually unlock the ability to upgrade normal ( and some really good) outfits. You don't have to side with them, just help them with quests until the vendor there sells armored outfits. This is also the only way to get access to the best armor in the game. And yes, you will be able to armor a Tuxedo using this.

There are actually plenty of clothes you can wear below that - military fatigues as mentioned, long johns, brotherhood of steel also has a recon suit that I currently wear below it. The vault suits, of course, some weird "athletic clothing" and the minute men base outfit can also be worn under armor pieces.

Spoiler for min maxers
Protip: One of the quests in the railroad faction line gives you access to ballistic weave, with it you can reinforce pre war clothes such as suits, dresses, and even some hats, to have ridiculous armor ratings. Want to be a dapper post war hitman in a black suit and elegant hat? With armor 4 those two can give you over 200 in all resistances, pre chems!
Black brotherhood uniform (i think you can only find it by looting corpses), beret and mix of heavy and sturdy combat armor looks good on my char (going full heavy as soon as i find rest of the pieces).

Theres harnesses but your vault suit, hope you kept it cause it can be upgraded to be a uber suit :)

Near the start, a short distance from Concord theres a little camp site and a set of armor always seems to spawn, think its the Cage armor which it pretty good when starting out, Think its 25 dam res and 20 energy res.
