Where's my water?

So I built 3 industrial water purifiers at my Castle settlement for a few extra caps. For some reason, I can't access the purified water they produce. When I go into the workshop aid menu I see 16 purified water (which I've had in there for about 2 in game weeks, but when I go to craft chems or food, It show's I have 64 purified water. Is it hidden somewhere? And another thing, With 120 water production, shouldn't I have more than 64 purified water after two in game weeks of use? And yes they are powered and turned on. =b

The water is just a settlement resource...it isn't actually to produce water for yourself ...

I was always able to pull some out at sanctuary to produce adhesive. So It can be used for myself.

But it's not..that's the problem...still shows only 16 when i go into the workshop. But show's 64 when I go intot he crafting menu

It goes into the Workshop in the settlement it is *produced at*. It can be accesed for *crafting* at all linked settlements, but shared resources stay in the workshop they're offloaded into.

that is false. the extra water is SUPPOSED to show up in your workshop inventory.

there seems to be a bug involving "max" storage of the workshops. after a certain point, items don't get deposited from your settlement.

try clearing out all of your aid items and placing them in a different storage, water should start showing up (as long as you have an excess in the settlement and don't have a shortage in any that you have a supply line link to)

I must be bugged then...because it's not showing up. Very strange. I'm producing it at the castle, but it's not there...but it is...i'm so confused. =b

those extra waters are in other workshops. you can use them for crafting, but can't grab them unless you are in the settlement they are actually located in.
