You're getting this sort of reaction because your post is somewhat inflammatory. Saying the game is going down "fast" is going to be taken as a criticism. When the reason it's dropped a whole 2 points is entirely because of three new reviews, which is really not a big deal, it seems like you posted solely to stir up ♥♥♥♥.
Does what always happen? A reviewer post a score low enough to move the average? "Always", no. But of course it happens. You seriously needed someone to tell you that? :) When someone posts a review, it can change the average. That's... why they call it an average.
this is the 1st time that saw reviews changed twice in 2 weeks so i that it would be ok to point that out
Yes, games that have been in the stores for a while have already had everyone who's going to review it give a review. Plus, they have a lot more reviews in total. Thus, the score is not likely to change.
New games with a low number of total reviews are likely to still have review coming in. When those reviews come in, they are more likely to change the average score because of the lower total number of reviews.
This isn't exactly rocket science.
Of course it did. What, you think those scores started at their current value and stayed static?
THe paid off journalists chimed in early. Now the journalists and bloggers with a set of brass are speaking up and pulling the score down with the truth.
GTA V released on 4/14.
Average score by date:
4/14 - 100
4/15 - 97 (omfg!)
4/16 - 97
4/17 - 96
4/18 - 97
At this point it stablized for a while. Then on 5/1 someone gave it a 70, dropping its average by around 1 point, putting it at the 96 rating it has now.
GTA V is one of the least fluctuating scores you'll see because it got nearly a perfect score, but even it wasn't static.
Wolfenstein fluctuated a little more, since it started with a 90, which happened to be its highest score. So it dropped fast from there.
