Any idea how to reset the quest? It bugged out for me, the synth guy at Warwick will only trade items.

Just found a fix for it using console commands to complete the quest.

In console type sqt to get a list of all your quests. Make sure you hard save before hand in case you mess up the wrong one.
It should say something like MinRecruit then a number. In my case it was MinRecruit04.
In my case I just typed completequest MinRecruit04 in console to force the quest completion.

I restarted the game from the beginning and finnished brotherhood and some other achivements, only got railroad left i think, maybe minuteman too.
