Need help on Cambridge Polymer Labs quest

So I have this quest called Cambridge Polymer Labs, and the only objective currently says "[Optional] Find another way to escape the laboratory" and I was doing a lot of other quests already outside the lab, but the quest log won't update.
I came back there and am currently trying to figure out how to progress this quest, any help would be appreciated.

Hi, you need tolk whit the robot call Molly and you need finish a project, i found the material, get the item and complete the quest, i think is complete, because in the mission log in the line of complete quest, this part of the mission appear failed, but i have the project item, i search in the web and this is a bug.

I think what I did is this - I didn't know about this place before, so I went up to the director's office, unlocked his terminal and used manual override or something.
Another thing is, Molly is now infront of that terminal outside of the clean room, and it didn't let me talk about employment with her or anything.
I wanna try and somehow reset her or her dialoge cause she won't move from that terminal outside the clean room back to the main lobby, and I still have that one [Optional] objective, nothing about a research.

I finshed it but ended up stuck with the reagents in my inventory for all time. Thhere was a path that took me about 30 min to find, I do not know why I did not notice it, but I did not at frist.

So, go back there, use the materials on a console and you will find a very nice suprise, if you follow the instructions right ;)
