Level 50. Still no sign of X-01 power armor

Please don't post a spoiler. I'm just wondering if I haven't found any X-01 power armor because
- There's a questline I haven't done
- There's a location I haven't found
- The RNG God hates me

Which one is it? :)

Did you go to all the areas when you were a lower level and not pickup the Power Armors? If so then the game spawned the Power Armor parts at the level you were when you first visited the area and didn't reset the Power Armors. Try picking up the Power Armor, dumping it somewhere else, and then wait for the cell to reset before revisiting the area again.

Are your Armour, Blacksmith and Science perks at Level 3 ? It is mainly based on Armour but the others help

Also if you have the Lexington Interiors mod then house 3 has the X-01 pieces

try searching 35 Court for a full set of X-01 power armor.

the shipping containers outside of National Guard Training Yard is another place you can start.

S. Boston Military Checkpoint also has a full set of X-01 locked inside a cage. you need at least rank 2 of Hacker to hack the terminal.

there is limited amount of x-01 .. if you have been in the location that has it before you met level requirement, you got lower tier of PA .. i never re-visit location that has x-01 after respawning, so dont know what you will get, but it would be pretty lame if you would get again x-01 .. i guess you get different one.
for quite a long time i am using mod that deleted all PA from the world .. i kinda didnt liked that after about 10 hours of playing, i had over 10 full PA sets .. so i cant even check now, well i can, but i dont want to :)

Im level 41 and ive been doing almost no quests, just the repeatable settlement ones. I didnt use powerarmor more sparingly until after i established my bases around level 30 and this was without abusing water purifiers to get boatloads of cash. So we all play differently and mabey you were using powerarmor alot. But thats still what, assuming you got lots of cores around level 10 thats mabey 10 levels to play with T45, 10 levels to play with T51 and another 10 to play with T60?

Id say level 50 is still too early to find the best powerarmor of the game. Hell finding T51 parts so early in my playthrough meeting those cat guys from that garage took me by surprise since i expected to run with T45 for atleast 20-30 levels then T51 for another 20-40. II found a T60 torso but no other parts yet and im gonna run those through to my 60s.

The the cats! I accidently got a sweet set of their power armor. When the hostiles attacked - cars went boob. Killed, I think, Jake, on of them, anywey, always in power armor. Looted it off dead body - wasn't red - not stealing. Sweet.

And there is nothing wrong with "necroing" this thread as people find it on Google when they are trying to obtain X-01 power armor.

The t-45 apperance is a known bug. It is the x-01 complete armor.

I got to level 50 recently X-01 suits all over the darn place. Best is 35 Court in region of good neighbour but it does not show on map - full suit on roof, no damage. Also other partial suits are around including one on roadway south of poseidon works and nattick banks (DC here) and heading towards glowing sea. When I went through site Institute synths on patrol, as I am the director, no problem. but a couple of Deathclaws in area. I now have a lovely Institute painted X0-1 but hate the helmet, preferring the T-51; but it wont let paint X-01 without full complement of armour.

Having passed 'nuclear family' paint job is available but you can get it via a console code, you do not need nuclear, adhesive or anything to paint with.

RNG Gods hate you. I think the National Guard Armory spawns 2-3 sets of power armor, so you can go there or try your luck. There are two spots I know of that have guaranteed X-01 spawns.

A helmet on the Prydwen in the room with the Quartermaster, very tricky to get out.
A frame with 2-3 pieces in K-21B/The Abandoned Shack in the Glowing Sea, on the ground level of the facility neat the Protectrons.

how you do that?

Someday people will figure out a few things:

1. This topic was created BEFORE any of the DLCs were released.
2. Pieces of power armor in a frame depend upon your level the first time a cell is loaded.
3. There is websites out there with complete lists and maps to all the armor locations. (My chosen option rather than hearing a dozen times in the same topic about the set in Court 35.)

I would put down "4. Read the topic before answering" but I aint naive enough to believe eveyrone will actually read before answering.

You can get the x-01 quantum armour from nuka world. It's easy to get the power armour from playing. How can't you find it.

Pfftt I can't even troll this right. There people replying to a post from 2015 in late 2019. Just four years after I don't think he's looking for advice right now for this.
