Level 50. Still no sign of X-01 power armor

Please don't post a spoiler. I'm just wondering if I haven't found any X-01 power armor because
- There's a questline I haven't done
- There's a location I haven't found
- The RNG God hates me

Which one is it? :)

Well they're in multiple locations and its leveled based. I'm assuming its because of the main questline you haven't done.

The second one, pro tip: There's one location in Boston, which will always spawn X-01, if your level is bigger then 30

RNG Gods hate you. I think the National Guard Armory spawns 2-3 sets of power armor, so you can go there or try your luck. There are two spots I know of that have guaranteed X-01 spawns.

A helmet on the Prydwen in the room with the Quartermaster, very tricky to get out.
A frame with 2-3 pieces in K-21B/The Abandoned Shack in the Glowing Sea, on the ground level of the facility neat the Protectrons.

Go to Court 35. It's an unmarked location near the shamrock Taphouse. It's guaranteed to have an X-01 suit if the player is over level 30 so you'll get it. Look it up on youtube if you need more complete instructions.

As said theres 1 place that always spawns it when you are past a certain level. I only had 3 pieces up until level 65. I then found this place which is heavily protected. After that like magic I now have found 3 complete sets. Me and Piper now are pretty much invincible. Glad I didnt find it earlier to be honest because its pretty OP.

Idk. Level 50 is nothing.

Im level 41 and ive been doing almost no quests, just the repeatable settlement ones. I didnt use powerarmor more sparingly until after i established my bases around level 30 and this was without abusing water purifiers to get boatloads of cash. So we all play differently and mabey you were using powerarmor alot. But thats still what, assuming you got lots of cores around level 10 thats mabey 10 levels to play with T45, 10 levels to play with T51 and another 10 to play with T60?

Id say level 50 is still too early to find the best powerarmor of the game. Hell finding T51 parts so early in my playthrough meeting those cat guys from that garage took me by surprise since i expected to run with T45 for atleast 20-30 levels then T51 for another 20-40. II found a T60 torso but no other parts yet and im gonna run those through to my 60s.

There are tons of power armors and parts scattered through wasteland (some are predefined and based on your level as mentioned).

I have now no less than 10 in total, from the earliest T-45 up to X-01 (1 complete, other one lacking right leg and left arm heh ^_^). Might build a LARGE garage to keep them all in one place instead of letting them rust in the sun hehe.

you should find tons of x-01 power armor, i only find that type anymore, other than a few that have a story so are always the same armor.

I just reached level 30 and I have four T60's, two T51's, one XO1 and a T45. Those are just the onse on frames I have at least another XO1 with a leg missing and many other suits just missing an arm or a leg. Keep searching you'll find it. As other posters have said, Court 35 after level 30 will get you one.

The 2nd one.

I had a theory on where the good power armour suits may be, turned out my theory was correct. Also had a little luck obviously as well, because you I still needed to find the locations where I thought they would be.

National Army Training Center was very sweat to me. I was around lvl 30 and found an X-01 with only a leg and the helmet missing. The helmet is still hard to get. Steal it on the BoS zeppelin.

X-01 spawns around lv 28 and the armor is not rar at all ...., every frame i found so far has X-01 armor pieces on it ( iam around lv 36). Theres no higher luck involved, the only thing is, you need to be higher than lv 28 and the mainframe must not have been found yet. There are Power Armor frames that spawn lower Tier Armor pieces like t45, t51 and t60, that are the rar ones^^
