Slocum's Buzzbite Recipe
Just came across this recipe, but can't figure out what it is.

Anyone?

I checked again, it is food you can make, and is quest-related

It sounds like an adult entertainment holotape involving Paladin Danse and a bloatfly.

Have you checked a cooking stand? You might of unlocked a special recipe for bombs or chems or food. It might also be a quest item you found without the quest, kinda rare. I've had a locket in my inventory since forever and still haven't found the quest that it's related to.

One of the Minuteman quests has you retrieve a locket for the Abernathy Farm.

Haha, right. I checked all out it and couldn't find it. Maybe quest-related.

And yeah. Said above the locket is for a Minuteman quest.

Appreciated. I should probably start caring about those. Been letting them fail since forever.

Snap have you tried searching the console for any possible information? I forget the exact command but you type something like

help deathclaw 0 (or 1, 2 3 and 4) and it brings up a list of information about everything containing the word deathclaw. Maybe run buzzbite through it, or slocum or something and it might contain a few keywords that help you figure it out? I dunno.

Yeah, 60 percent of them are boring as ♥♥♥♥. But every now and then you get a pretty good one.
And I just ckecked again, it's a food you can make. Silly me...

Well in New Vegas I spent ages trying to figure out what to do with Cook Cooks Stew because there were NCR quests relating to food at Camp McCarren and some guy mentions Cook Cook cooking and how the fiends must be crazy to let him. And stuff.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I WANT TO BELIEVE.

Really? I got the buzzbite recipe and I can't do jack with it. They're not much use anyway IMO, who the hell wants to eat coffee filled donuts???

Yeah. Just a fun little thing they added, and probably quest realted. The stats it gives are really not desirable.

Thinking about NV is painful. The more I play FO4, the more I miss NV. I freaking hate how they chose fps over rpg. Sigh... But I still can't stop playing it.

Anyone?

Goodneighbor; hotel. Talk to the old man in the lobby. That should give you the quest that's used for. (I'm assuming as much; haven't found that item myself yet)

"Fun" fact...that was initially supposed to use Human Flesh.

The drug dealer or the scrap vendor? In my experience, both send you on different missions.

The scrap vendor. My guess is that while it IS a recipe, it's not a PLAYER recipe.

Thanks!
Turns out I was wrong; it IS actually a player recipe. It's under the same menu option you use to cook food like Radroach/Mole Rat/Deathclaw Meat.

Yep, though I am not sure if the player would ever want to actually make them.
