do enemys level with you ?
if so this wont work in this game cause there's no lvl cap and you stop getting stronger around lvl 45 cause you get all the damage perks by then and by the time you get to lvl 75 or higher the game is just gonna make you feel weaker and weaker till the game is to hard at some point you will just have to restart cause your guy will take loner to kill stuff than a lvl 1 im on ps4 and im lvl 52 and was just wondering if this is the case for my late game cause i like being strong that will be dumb if lvl up is actually gonna make me more weak than strong

I'm level 60 or so and I one shot just about everything, You gain more HP on a level up regardless, And I'm pretty sure enemy strength also has something to do with the area you're in. Some enemies are a lot weaker then others regardless of your level.

There are mods on Nexus that you can add to make your game harder, i never understood this but hey each to their own.

Just to answer your topic : Yes, they level up with you, but only because you get more items and perks, which without the lvling up enemies, would make you start one shotting them at lvl 10.

From my experimentation at 260+ (the actual level needed to almost completely max out Special/Perks) Some enemies are leveled to the area, while others are matched to your level. The former seems more common, while the latter seems to mostly apply to special spawns like legendaries and the more difficult variations of deathclaws, ghouls, etc.

no cause they could make the enemy lvl go up the farther south you o lvl 5 to 7 near sanctuary lvl 40 to 50 near the north star wreak so u would have to be sertain lvl to go to sertain places come back when ur stronger

back to the point what happens when you get to lvl 100 and ur basically putting points into random ♥♥♥♥ and not actually getting stronger but the enemy's still are

to prevent this from happening enemy's should only lvlwith you till a certain point like lvl 50 then stop so they don't keep getting stronger while you don't

Raiders are pretty much one-shot after level 30 or so.

But now on 45 harder enemies show up more often.

I really liked the balance of this.

im not talking about any lvl below 50 im talking about late game when ur lvl 75 to 100 and now ur basically back to killing things like a lvl 1 cause the enemy's will eventually catch back up to you as they get stronger and stronger as you lvl up

Currently level 71 on Very Hard, most super mutants I come across are either Overlords (level ~40) or Warlords (lvl 70). Some are still skirmishers and basic unnamed ones, but I definitely wasn't seeing Warlords before now. I think it's less that enemies level up with you and more that more powerful variations start to show up.

Yeah on Easy.. Many things take a good 6 -10 rounds before going down.

If it works like Skyrim, enemies will only level with you up to a certain level, then they stop following you.

The places that you discovered will be locked in level, so if you go back when they respawn, they will stay at that level range.

I'm able to single shot just about everything, with the exception of a few really nasty guys. Of course, I also have all 5 stars in non-automatic rifles, so my combat rifle with a .308 receiver is somewhere around 150 or something damage. I don't remember the precise number. It's enough to trivialize most combat situations.
