[SPOILERS] how do i open the metal door in the minuetemen fort?

ive given it power and seen light on the other side even used 'tfc' and confirmed the space on the other side of the door but how do i open the damn metal door

There is a quest later that gets you behind there. Not supposed to be there yet :p

Just play more minutemen quests until you get a message to talk some named npc in the fort. Should be unlocked 2-3 settlements later.

Go to the main office then use the workshop to remove a debris in that main office.

@tenshin51 i tried that, got to the tunnel and defeated sarge, but the terminal is unaccesable or what ever so i cant unlock the door

i didnt do any of the missions, and just had to wait for the bad ass lady minuetmen to approch me, i used tcl (toggle collisions) went in a pushed the buttons, but i reverted to a save so i could wait for her and im doing the quest now

It's a quest. You have to go into your 'building' (workshop) mode to 'dig out' the tunnel.

Like Rip, said, there'll be another quest you get (if I recall correctly, from Preston) who will send you to talk to a lady. She'll take you through the tunnel and unlock that terminal and ultimately open that giant door

well i was just walking around and i saw her so i talked to her and she said i had already removed the rubble and after we got in the tunnels we breeezed right through she opend the door and i went throug
