Can you get power armor glove/hand pieces?
In the power armor GUI it always appears like you're missing hand or glove pieces but I've never found any. This seems strange to me as the "boot" pieces are just a part of legs. Is this just a part where they didn't bother making it go orange with the rest when you have arms equipped?

I've played a fair bit since I posted this and have never seen any so my assumption is they do not exist. Also arms get boosts to things like punching, which you would think would be on gloves if they existed.

that's weird that there arent gloves, because if you look at the power armor figure when inside one, it shows the hands but it's outlined meaning that there should be gloves..

Note that the hands of the underlying power armour frame are always visible and are never covered by the armour pieces. I suspect that they may have originally intended the arm pieces of power armour to include gloves, but removed them from the model at some later point, affecting both the actual mesh and the GUI display. It may be that they didn't work out a good way to have the armour pieces overlay the hands.

power armor has the same equipment slots as you yourself have: left/right arm, left/right leg, body and helmet. boots and gloves do not exist as separate items, although some arms might have them included (i can't remember right now, and i'd remember wrong as well since i run graphical replacements)

If your talking about how funny the PA hands look, its for animation purposes. Alows the player to hold a gun like a human with a Super mutant skeleton. It's also the reason there are no gloves, the hands are part of the frame and need to be the same at all times looking through first person.

There's no real requirement that they always look the same in first person view, but it might have been awkward to bulk up the hands with an extra layer (presumably just over the back of the hands) when you're gripping different kinds of weapon.

The presence of that empty section on the power armour interface does suggest they could originally have tried it out.

It's a requirement for Bethesda with visuals, not modders or players. There may have once been an attempt, but it was likely scrapped because it would cause alot clipping or IK breaking. I've attempted to modify the hands on PA to use hand to hand weapons, but without a rework of the skeleton guns and weapons don't point in the proper direction. After reworking the skeleton, other items and weapons broke. It was a pointless endever, so I just made weapons work even with clipping.

There are gloves for the power armor in fallout 4, I had them at one point but lost them, I remember them being just used for melee and hit very hard but if I'm correct I'm pretty sure it was considered a weapon instead of armor. Reason being why I may have lost them somewhere when taking them off.
