Effective Range of Artillery

I have seen this come up and I asked it my self. After a little experimenting, I found the answer, the effective range of artillery in FO4 is about 5.5 grid squares, or about 480-550 meters from the artillery site.

The image is edited, But I show where the last spot I could use artillery. Past this circle they can not fire on my smoke. Enjoy and happy shelling.
