Bug: Can't exit Pip-boy menu
This has happened twice in a row, so I figured it was worth mentioning here. I can't exit the pip-boy menu for some reason. I can navigate through it, but no button will let me leave it. Some things to note: I've been rapidly opening and closing it to quick-fix invisible guns. That might have something to do with it. I'll mess around a bit then try restarting my game entirely.

Well know bug, happens to me A LOT and have to close the game and open it again to fix it. :< I hope they fix it so I don't have to.

ALT-TAB then Alt-tab back into game... now Tabbing will work.

it seems to happen when you go into the steam overlay. just shift tab and it should be good as new.

I've tried this, doesn't work for me... wish it did.

use steam overlay then go back, steam overlay breaks the tab button

Sometimes I have to Shift-Tab in and out of Steam interface a few times before it fixes up. It's a nuisance, though.

It hasn't happened since the two times I mentioned here, but I had never opened the steam overlay once before or during the bug. I just kept reloading a save until it stopped happening.

Update on this, It's happened twice more and neiher hitting ESC or bringing up the overlay a few times fixed it. It's definitely tied to the invisible weapons glitch, though.

yeah i had the same issue so save often and if you get it again just reload your save :)

most UI sticky bugs i find get fixed on ALT-TABbing back into the game

Yep, that's been the only solution so far

I ran into this problem today. On PC with the latest patches. I couldn't fast travel and I couldn't exit Pip-boy. I really didn't want to kill the game as I had performed a couple of significant moves within the previous couple of minutes I had saved the game.

PC only: teleport to another npc. I chose Preston Garvey, but you can choose whomever you wish. Open the console (the back quote mark, ` )
Type: player.moveto 1a4d7

Still an ongoing bug...are there any mods that fix this? has anyone tried changing the pipboy button to something else besides tab?

I am getting this right now as well. Got out of the pipboy by reloading a save but know I can't get into it. Tried restarting the game and my computer and nothing worked. Did anyone find a fix for this yet?
