Get over it. All major game engines have a DEBUG CONSOLE in them that CAN be used to 'cheat' while their actual purpose is for DEVELOPERS and gamers encountering BUGS to fix the problem.
I hate grind ~player.additem f 1000000
I also add some crafting supplies before I got my supply lines all set up.
I haven't added any of the weapons as I've already found most of the good ones.
I haven't added any of the armors either.
I've had to fix a couple NPC's that were bugged.
I've had to fix my character getting stuck in my power armor.
I've deleted immortal corpses that just wont go away.
You should probably get a xboxone/playstation if you debug consoles break your fun factor in games.
To remove the conxole, is to render this games truly unplayable.
Another reason this has to be in the game, is the modding capability. As modder you NEED these codes, to test your quests and your mod. These are tools.
And for players: Do not use them. Simple as that. They render the ♥♥♥♥ measurement tries aka achievements totally useles. But who needs them anyway, besides the mentaly disturbed.
In the story at beginning of thread opener the builder never blamed anyone. Wasn't angry or mad, just thinking about what was and what could have been.
In retrospective, many ancient structures still stand to this day. Not because of whom they were built by, but because no one knows how they were built. If everyone knew everything, most everything wouldn't be something that lasts.
That's all so far, no added any Weapon's and Stuff, because i find more than enough, every ~5-10th Encounter is a Legendary, but only 1/50 Legendary is one i actually find really useful, but i take them all and store them into my Storages.
As for the Carry Weight, i still look that i have only the Gun's i really need, because the Inventory is a mess anyway, if you have to much you have a hard Time to scroll trough and find what you need.
Also that Carry Weight doesn't make Sense immersion wise anyway, i mean Ammo takes 0 Weight, you can carry tons of it, but if you accidentally take something to much (happens quite often because Stuff is stacked together) and you get bothered instantly with Messages and need to go trough the messy Inventory and drop Stuff.
In Skyrim it was even possible without Console (on Xbox360) to get +1000000% Carry Weight and Stuff by simply abusing the Alchemy-Smithing and to create Ring's and Stuff that gave you unlimited what ever, i had a Bow in Skyrim that one-shooted Dragons, they fallen dead from the Sky... But that Stuff was only possible later in the Game because you needed some maxed Perks and to craft special Clothing, Potions and exactly know what and how you do it.
Console Access gives you this Possibility instantly, but it's up to the User if he wants abuse it or not, but if you do don't complain if Things go boom, because it's also possible to break Things with it, if you don't exactly know what you do. Also use the right Commands, so that you can revert it later if you need or feel like, because some Commands doing the same, can't not be reverted while other can.
Back in those days, 'cheats' existed too...
You know why the console is all the same? because it's not made directly for enabling cheats, 'cheats' in gaming history have been dev tools for testing/debugging etc. then at the end they don't bother wasting time coding them out of the game, because logically... if people don't want to use them or don't know them, no harm. and if they are... then clearly the person wanted to use it.
That's also why they wouldn't re-do the entire set of commands they use for debugging from their previous games.. it's too much hassle if you changed a basic godmode command to something else just to 'stop' someone who obviously wants to use it from using it by their own choice.
It's a waste of development time changing everything because someone doesn't like being given a choice.
Also, it's easy to look up specific info about the game without landing on cheats, even then, why does it matter? You don't need to use them, and i can guarantee, if they did change the list of commands, they would be plasted even more to help everyone learn the new set of commands for the same thing.
EGGSONLEGS
Also the same time you could just not use mods either as there are plenty of mods for Fallout 4 that gives you everything.
