How Many Locations Total?

I've visited 219 so far. How many are there?

I have only found a couple one being a plane wreck, and a missile complex in the glowing sea. I honestly can't speak to whether there are other locations hidden beyond the supposed edge of the map. I was just pointing out there are locations outside of the maps, and if you are still fairly hungry that might be a good place to look, and that you shouldn't necessarily trust the lines.

I tested this myself shortly afterwards, and the only hidden locations outside the border would be south , and at the bottom left there's a nuclear reactor

I'm only up to 294 now. I used the 'tmm 1' command to reveal the map, unfortuanately it puts your discovered locations to over 1500, not sure why that is.

I thought I would try and make a huge map. I zoomed all the way into the Pipboy and screenshotted every little section... came out to over 200 images with ovelaps.

Tried using photomerge script to turn it into one big map, wow merging 200 images makes your computer freak out lol.

Eventually got it to complete but didn't come out as expected, perhaps I have to use different settings. I may try again later with the map zoomed out, but it would be very hard to dtinguish the different locations.

Anyone know where there is a full size Pipboy map with all the locations?

I have the Prima maps, but just want something as it appears on the Pipboy.

No because I'm at 294 now and have nearly every location discovered, so when you are playing normally secondary locations are not included in that stat.

tmm 1 in fallout 4 discovers every variant of location according to each instant of the game, but I'm still not sure why It would've landed at 1500 considering there's 310 or so locations in total.

Exactly I know there are around 1500 or so locations total, but that particular stat is only meant to be for primary locations on your Pipboy... It suddenly jumps to all locations if you use the command.

Quite a few locations don't show up on the map like traders, caves and underground entrances.

Yes but they are not usually included in that stat in your Pipboy.

Wow, slow at exploring...it's more like 32 billion locations and I'm still finding more. Radiant quests are a pain with so many places now! ;)

I stopped discovering new locations after that point, so I'm not sure.

i m sitting at 331 atm, but i ve seen people reporting ~340

I think when they came up with the 1,5k locations they counted every loading screen as a "new location" that would explain it but is shady as one can be.

I honestly don't get where they're finding the rest of these, could it just be due to what sort of ending you choose?
I stopped finding them at around 312 or so, and haven't found any new markers in awhile.
