Dogmeat Deleted [SOLVED]
So I got the un-moveable crop glitch and had to click/markfordelete on like 30-40 crops and accidently did this to dogmeat un-knowingly. Now he is gone and I cant figure out how to get him back, even via console commands.

When I target him via prid 1d162 it comes up with the following:
"(0001d162)[D][EP]

I assume the [D] means deleted. I can use commands to move him and me to each other but at his location there is nothing, just empty space.

Anyone know a solution?

SOLUTION:

Console commands:
prid 1d162
recycleactor
moveto player

Stop using console commands to get around things you aren't supposed to be able to do. Problem solved.

Try this to reset the actor:
prid 1d162
recycleactor
moveto player

Otherwise you can spawn a new Dogmeat using:
player.placeatme 1d5c 1 1 1

This. I think you are trying to use place at me with his refid rather than his base id, so you keep just placing a delete reference at yourself. Not sure how the engine handles that.

Gee that's really helpful to his situation. Also you are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot, he clearly said it was glitched, go be a bethesda drone somewhere else.

Not sure if this will help or not. Granted its a mod and with all mods its user beware but here it is none the less.

Summon Companions mod @ nexusmods.com

I used console commands to solve a glitch in the game, read the post before you reply flamer. I'm not using TIM or TGM or anything like that, i used a delete function to solve glitches with outposts and nothing more.

The first solution worked perfectly, thank you very much! Editing to put this as the solution up top :)

Thanks for updating the OP with this solution. Top google result while searching for fix for this issue, recycle actor worked perfectly. Now I have Dogmeat back and The Castle looks great...it is possible to have one's cake and eat it. :-)
