Silver Shroud upgrades missed?

I just finished the "The Silver Shroud" quest at level 49. After talking to Kent, I can't seem to get him to offer the other costume upgrades. I'm suspecting that you need to do this around levels 22-24. I'm guessing completing it at 25+ has locked me out of any further upgrades to the costume.

I'm not the only one having this problem, so I think this is one of those things that will have to be patched so that if you already are a higher level than the requirements when you finish the quest, Kent will immediately offer the next upgrade for it each time you collect the last one.

YOu may ahve already read this but I found this on the wiki under this quest...

after the quest is finished Kent Connolly will offer upgrades to the trenchcoat. The first of these is available as soon as the quest has finished and upgrades the damage resistance from it's initial 15 to 42. When the player reaches L25 an upgrade will become available from Kent which will increase the damage resistance to 57 instead of the original 42 and the special bonus of damage reduced from humans to 15% instead of 10%. Further upgrades are available at L35 increasing the damage resistance to 70, and a final upgrade at L45 increasing damage resistance to 87. The value will also gradually rise from the original 600 up to 1000 at L45. Whenever a new upgrade is available, the Silver Shroud radio channel will become active once more when the player is around Goodneighbor and Kent will state he has a 'special delivery' for the Silver Shroud." "

Don't know if this holds true though... Let us know if you get it worked out?

So far i havent gotten it. Im at 62 now and i check on goodneighbor every other mission for nothing.

Most people who've done this quest completed it around levels 20-22. As I said, I completed it at level 49, four levels past the requirement for the last upgrade.

Until we get a mod or patch that fixes that error in the system, I won't be able to upgrade the armor any further than the upgrade to 42 DR

In the same boat here. He wont upgrade it at all for me. I was 46 when I completed it, 50 now and still nothing. When he gave it to me it was 42 DR.

How do you even start this quest anyway? I'm lvl 45 and still haven't gotten anything. And yes I did listen to Silver Shroud radio.

I fnished the quest in my 50s I think. I told Kent that he has to keep going with Silver Shroud. After the Questline some time went by and I turned on Silver Shroud radio. He broadcasted I should come visit him. So i went to him and immediately got the 87 DR upgrade.

Same problem too, finished the quest at around 46+, now I'm almost 51 and he hasn't turned on the Silver Shroud Radio again to tell me about my next upgrade to 87DR. I even went to Goodneighbor and sat on a bench and waited like 12 days in a row and still nothing... Maybe if I just keep doing quests around and turn around there later on he will do it, but for now he's not.

I can almost promise he wont. Im now 58 and still hasnt upgraded for me. (side note tho: like most falloutians 4days gametime still havent started the main storyline) ((more importantly: starting it this weekend))

I'm level 60 and I still haven't gotten a single upgrade. It's been almost half a year in game.

According to the wikia, Kent won't give you the upgrade if you finish the quest past level 45, and the game will set the upgrade ready for when you make it to level 100.
Open up the console for the game and type in this:

set MS04ArmorLevel to 45

That will make the armor upgrade available again when you enter Goodneighborhood/The Den again.
