Is Fallout 4 better on PC or Console

I've heard that Fallout on console is better than PC because there's more problems with frame rate drops and user interface. Is this true?

well my fps is 60 and doesn't really drop and the console is locked at 30.

Depends. At the moment a solid argument can be made that Fallout is at least more stable on console. But mods and patches will be coming out in the near future which will make PC the better choice in the long run.

What a polarizing question. If someone enjoys it on PC then they enjoy it on PC. If they enjoy it on console they enjoy it on console. Nothing inherently 'better' over either options.

The pc version is better, the console suffer from framedrops in combat and the xbox one even stutters because of its slow HDD

I prefer this game with a controller. Even threw in a mod to replace the xbox buttons with ps4 buttons in-game.

For 3d games, a mouse and keyboard rocks since the days of DooM and Wolf3d. For racing games, or sidescrolling games, a controller is favorable.

Normaly it is better on PC. It just is. BUT this release was kinda poor. They put a lot of work into the console release and nearly nothing into the PC this time and it will be a growing trend with this company, which I dont blame them. Used an old outdated game engine, did not have to use much resources between the diffrent formats, did very little polishing and it sold very very well. So much for AAA titles. I doubt it even was one, sure does not feel like it anyways.

Hmm I feel best bet is PC. You can upgrade and turn seetings up an any time. Mods will be one console but not the level of mods we will see on PC to incude graphics and full conversion mods a year or two out.

PC, you can use Console Commands to get around game breaking/ending bugs and crashes. Console has no Console Commands.

Wow this question. The ones saying on console is better are highprobably kids owning a computer that I threw away 6 years ago in the garbage as it already was unsellable back then. Everything on ULTRA incl. FOV etc, locked it on 60FPS, not one time I've seen 59FPS on my screen. No bugs so far, nothing. But then again, I own a i7 6700, gtx 980Ti (strix), 16gb ddr4 3200MHz ram :p

PS: Never use a controller for games like these, only use a controller for sportgames, arcade, platform games.

PC until Beth starts the paid mod system they were talking about a few months ago. Then it's better to have it on console because owning a PC is pointless without mods. Can't say I want to pay over double the price of a console just so I can spend thousands more to mod my already expensive games that are riddled with DLC and microtransactions. lol
