CTD near Red Rocket Truck Stop/Sanctuary Area
I've tried fast traveling to both of these areas and walking (fast travelled to Concord but when I came near RRTS the game crashed. Not sure what the problem is I've logged close to 70 hrs and my system runs this thing at Ultra. Any suggestions?

If you reduce your graphic settings does it no longer crash at the red rocket?

That worked. Crazy how nature do dat.

I wonder why that happened, I've been meandering around that area for so long in Ultra and High settings and it just started happening today...

Sounds like a plan. I went all the way down to low then back up to high and no more crash so you should be fine.

Thanks for the help!

Lol, I have no clue why... but I am glad it worked for you. Perhaps you can find a sweet spot on where you can max out your settings before it starts to crash.

Maybe you can get away with turning just one thing down a notch, or even a view distance slider tweak.

*I GOT A FIX THAT WORKED FOR ME!!*

1) First I copied my ALL inis to desktop
2) Secondly I set LOW in the launcher for graphics
3) Thirdly I fast travelled to vault 111 and got just before path up to sanctuary
4) I Saved
5) I quit and removed ALL mod esps
6) I loaded the save, TURNED AROUND and saved
7) Load that save u just made
8) TAA DAA! No more crashes!
9) now its time to find the broken mod!!!

Hope this helped

No More Disappearing Act - Cell Level Pre-culling Disabler (Now with Far Harbor Edition Alpha) by Fortunequacker was causing this problem for me.

Removed the mod and it started working.

This was happening with my game (which is MODDED, like ALLOT (182 mods i think?). I tried 12 times with various methods but when i got near the site, or if i sprinted then by the time i got to the back, id crash, and I really don't have much there.

I fast traveled to this area and there was a huge lag spike (never noticed it previously but i think i always get a little spike loading areas, and in this case it was being attacked), sat there a few seconds and it loaded up and its been a couple minutes and I'm still fine.

Hope this helps someone lol

EDIT:
Darn, just switched back to the game and as enemies where spawning in i lagged then crashed (and this is a pretty damn good PC by the way). Graphics are changed from ultra to min and fallout 4 is set to elevated CPU priority in Task Manager. RAM space available however CPU is a bit loaded.
