Vault 95 Cait won't sit in the chair *may contain spoilers* [RESOLVED]

So Cait walks in to the room and stands in front of the chair but she won't sit down. She continuously turns and turns, as though about to sit, but she won't.

I've tried re-launching the game. Tried reloading an old hard save and quicksave. Tried removing her custom gear and putting her back in her default clothes.. but nothing works.

Anyone got any suggestions, or a console code I can enter to force her to sit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a video if anyone needs to see it.

Edit: I cannot interact with her either, it just says "This individual is busy."

Resolution was to load a previous save, unfortunately had to do the whole mission over:

Are you able to command her and tell her to sit down? Or does the command option disappear after she goes into the room?

I forgot to mention - I cannot talk to/interface with her, it says "This individual is busy". I've also tried shoving her by sidling up to her and pressing forward, but she doesn't move out of the way of the chair.

Well I managed to resolve the issue. Went back to a save way before starting her mission, did some other side quests and when I went back to start this one again, she sat in the chair.

Had the same Problem. Shoot her down, when she gets back up she'll walk ;)

I'll do that again then...and set my timescale to default. ..

I tried 3 or 4 timesand no go...I had to set stage from 0 to 70 or 80... and she finaly sat on the damn chair...😂

I had the same problem today! she was just standing "busy". i stabbed her several times until she got angry, then i holstered the knife and everything went back to normal. LOL

Nice! I didn't think to try that. If it ever happens again (when/if I play again) I'll give that a try first.

Same problem for me. Tried heaps of things like modpos on furniture and Cait etc... and all the stuff written here, waiting 24hr on the seat next to her, and so on. THEN, I decided to have a break and went for a wander around Vault 95. Turns out there were still some enemy Raiders down below. So wiped them out and went back to see what Cait was doing and she was sitting in the chair waiting. My bet is that she won't sit down until the vault is cleared of ALL enemies. Worth a try for you anyway.... Happy hunting.

I had the same problem after reading all of the above ideas...I still had trouble but then I loaded a save that was just before I opened the lab door. I then moved Cait over to the side area away from the door had her get out of her power armor then told her to stay there. Then I opened the door killed the enemies went back to Cait and had her follow. She was back to normal and took off into the lab. Everything went fine from there on.
