NPC Aggression

I accidently stole a screwdriver from Virgil and he became aggresive some days later so I can't load an old savestate without having to replay 5 hours. Is there a console command to make NPC's friendly again?

Type "help aggression 4" it will give you a code for aggression I forget what it is off the top of my head then in the console click on him and type "resetai" and before you leave the console type "setav and the code it gave you for aggression and then 0" then exit the console and the npc should be friendly.

anyways on topic, the method that krieger suggests is also the one i would use.
this has been an issue since oblivion where if you knocked a thing down and tried to put it back up on the table the entire imperial legion will be at the door in seconds.

I accidentally stole some stuff from Jack Cabot during the last Cabot quest, how do I reset his aggression? (help aggression 4 shows the commands, but I don't understand how to use them)

you must target the npc then in the console type setav followed by the code result for aggression then 0

For example target the npc in the console then enter

setav 2bc 0

IF 2bc is the code it returns for aggresion when the help aggression 4 command was used.

Do not forget the "resetai" command after as well.

Another way that works is to just go away for at least 3 game days then come back. They usually reset back to neutral.

Thank you guy's. Old rusty in vault 81 just goes hostile for no reason and this fixed him and now I'm talking to him without a buzzsaw through my chest.

Scratch that old rusty is fixed but everyone else is hostile. I'm going to be here for a while.

1. Открываем консоль ~
2. Находим нужного нпс и вводим команду "help aggression 4" узнаем код агрессии пример (000002bc)
3. Кликаем по нужному нпс мышкой там будет id
4. Вводим команду "setav 2bc 0" (2bc - это наш код)
5. Вводим комануд "resetai"
Ps Если у вас много агрессивных персов, то для каждого нужно делать также (но это не точно)

THANK YOU SO MUCH! It happened to me that Codsworth, not being my companion, began to attack everyone around me. I had to walk with him so that he wouldn't attack anyone. I'm tired of it and I accidentally found your way. It worked and I'm so happy!
