How Many "Likes" before companion admires you?

I'm trying to raise a companion's approval quickly and have found a way to get relatively easy likes, how many do I need before I reach the next level in a relationship? I'd really like to get their quest out of the way.

Figure out what they like and do more of it. I maxxed out several just by doing the repeating Minutemen quests.

Yeah, I am, but I'd like to know approximately how many likes I need before they like me more. More likes means more time and caps put into this, after all.

However, when I just ran that command on my game Piper I get 1100 affinity ...
the above info is from the wiki on console commands. shrug.
She hasn't hugged me or anything yet. /shrug.

I'm trying to get Curie up to max, from my experience it takes around 25 stimpaks to Dogmeat (So approx. 25 likes) to get her up to the next level of admiration

Do you mean i have to heal dogmeat 25 times to increase her approval?

You need more than "likes" you need "loves" as well. Loves are worth more.

i think "loves" is just more effective than "likes" i can be wrong though and yea Curie is the best especialy after her personal quest. there is also other companions like valentine, Cait and MacCready who has special quests after they like you enough. you can romance Cait, Curie, Danse, Hancock, MacCready, Piper and Garvey
