like the title i restarted the game already it still there

i don't think so i am rad free yet i keep hearing the sound effect for some reason

I have the same issue. Started yesterday. Just a constant sound of radiation and it's driving me insane.

Does anyone have a solution?

On the off chance that this helps- I started loading older and older saved games until I found one without the noise. Played for a minute or two and the noise started. Went to a more recent save that had previously had the noise and it was gone. It comes back randomly but loading my last save seems to make it go away again. Really obnoxious though..

quicksave then quickload fixes for me but it will still do the radiation sound when starting the game again

It happens to me too everytime I load my file for the first time... fortunately reloading the same savefile solves the problem... still I hope Bethesda fixes it soon

reloading didn't fix it for me. closing the game, and steam, and restarting, also didn't fix it. I will try and earlier save then back, but if that fixes it, it's almost to annoying to use. Also, how do I tell if I actually have the patch, I never saw the game update, ever.

Ok, after spending most of the day on it, I have specifics for the radiation sound. Starting fresh from a reboot of the pc, if I load the game to my last save, and saved it while the radiation sound was going on, then I'll have it when I start the game. I have to load a save that is before the sound started, or I'll have the sound. So I have to lose progress, and go back and do things again so I won't have the sound. None of the suggested solutions work other than going back to before the sound started. I also discovered I can make the sound happen, whenever I want, by simply exiting my power armor. The instant I leave my power armor, the sound starts. From that point on, the sound won't stop until I go back to a save from before the sound started. Making this issue game breaking at this point. I can't craft ANYTHING because if I do, I'll have the radiation sound from then on. I can't save it after crafting, then go back to an earlier save without the sound, get rid of the sound, then reload the save I made after crafting, because that save has the sound in it, so it will come right back.

So I guess I'm done playing till they fix it. I can't repair my armor, I can't repair my companions armor. And no, turning off sound effects is not only not a solution, it's stupid, this bug makes the game broken and sound effects are one of the things good games MUST have.

Does ayone know how to contact Bathesda directly on this issue? Thanks
