Power Armor add ??? to all painted pieces
Based on the title, just say the paint say "add Charisma to all painted pieces".

Does this mean that all the PA pieces have to be painted with the same color in order for the Charisma effect to start working? Or you can paint whatever color you like as long as all the pieces are "painted"?

I'm confused as to whether it has to be the same color or it can be anything you like as long as it's painted.

Hope someone can clear this up for me?

It read differently to me. Said "Adds 1 Charisma when all pieces painted." Either way; you need to have the one paint job across the whole suit to get the stat benefit. So the Vault-Tec paint scheme, for example, only gives an extra point of Charisma when you have the Vault-Tec scheme on all six pieces of the armour.

Frustrating bit, really, is that the paint takes up the same upgrade slot as material enhancements - what if I want to give it even more energy resistance? I have to strip off the paint and miss out on the stat-bonus.

Thanks for clarifying.. So I need to get all of them to have the same paint scheme just for that one benefit huh.. Doesn't seems to be worth it.. :v

Well that sucks. Here I thought I had been running around with a couple extra CHA points, a point of STR in the helmet and AGI on the legs. Now I learn all I really had was a green helmet, blue arms and chest and red legs. >_<

It explicitly says in the gamw they all need to be the same paint job.

I don't recall the game saying that. It just states "all painted pieces". It did not mention "similar painted pieces".

Every single Special stat improving paint job says "With all pieces painted".

It is only the ones like lead plating or titanium coating that do not specifically say "with all pieces painted". THOSE work all on their own, at least.

While on the subject. BoS paint is +6 strength, same as Military paint. But Military paint is allowed to be used on X-01 armor, while BoS is not.

EDIT: I'm really curious where shadowgight is seeing actual "adds 1 charisma" claims because I've never ever seen it say just how much it gives you all game. Just general "increases charisma with all pieces painted" type messages. Including right now.

You mistook my point.. Lol!

If you check out my original post, I know SPECIAL stat improving says "all pieces painted". However, my question was whether it needs to be the same color scheme or it can be mixed and match. It did only state "all pieces painted" and not "all pieces painted with similar color" or something like that.
