Gun-Fu Melee?
Does Gun-Fu Agility 10 perk work with melee attacks? Or only Guns?

The description is pretty vague.

Yea but it just says "your next targets in VATS" doesn't say anything about guns, except the skill itself.

Why would they call it Gun-Fu if it was for melee weapons too? The picture is clearly him shooting targets, not smacking them with a bat

From Bethesda a couple months ago: "Take for example the Agility 1 Perk Gunslinger (20% more damage with pistols), and the Agility 10 Perk Gun Fu (your 2nd target in V.A.T.S. takes 25% more damage regardless of weapon)."

I found this searching online.

Was just wondering if anyone tested for themselves, not just assuming it doesn't work because of a name and a picture, but thanks for your input.

I mean, as far as the perk chart goes i'm pretty sure all weapon related perks stack ontop of eachother.. Gun-Fu just makes it so once you kill your first target in vats with a firearm your second target in the same VATS senario will take 25% more dmg then the last enemy.

Yeah, and I hit multiple targets in VATS a lot with melee, especially if you see the perk before it (rank 9) I can blitz between enemies at a distance when I get that perk, so I don't see why Gun-Fu wouldn't work with it.

Well, there are melee related perks and gun related perks and it's a choice of what build you're doing. Blitz is for people who like melee and Gun-Fu is for people who like guns, the order of the perk chart doesn't really matter it's just what the player wants

It doesn't work. I tested this right now.

Test 1 with screenshot only:

Look at Health >> Values around 70000

1) base HP
2) melee+Gunfu
3)melee only
4)Pistol+Gunfu
5) Pistol only

Test 2 with video methodology

This is really disappointing. I'm over here trying to build an unarmed character and this would have made him viable against crowds. Guess I'll just go play a guns character..

Overall it feels like the content isn't very fleshed-out here, but specifically look at the number of unarmed weapons vs. New Vegas for example:

Four. http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Fallout_4_weapons#Unarmed
Forty-one!? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Fallout:_New_Vegas_Unarmed_skill_weapons
