Hardware Town, shouting woman?

Ok, without spilling any major spoilers here. But while following Dogmeat, I heard a woman shout outside Hardware Town that someone was dying inside and needed help. Can I skip that for now? Or does it have any effects I don't run in there to help? Like, will the person who needs help die?

well this isnt a major plot spoiler or anything even close, if you want to skip it for now then go ahead nothing will happen because of it, but a quest from diamond city will require you to go in there

but if you want to know what happens in there here it is
no one is dying, she leads you into an ambush
