tips for finding adhesive?

Pretty much every upgrade requires a bunch of this and im constantly starved of this while having plenty of other ingredients. Does anyone know of a specific place that has like all the glue in the world?

duct tape. its everywhere.

just go into the citys and loot up the buildings. they're usually on shelves, lockboxes, containers. you can also purchase them @ diamond city i think.

Look for duct tapes, wonderglues etc they are easy to found in factories.

I hear 1 vegtable starch produces 5 adhesive, haven't tried it yet though.

Learn local leader and build common stores. They sell all kinds of scrap which include glue. Or build cooking stations and craft adhesive. You need water and 3 kind of food which you can grow. Otherwise just loot everything in dungeons.

Find wonderglue, take wonderglue, dead no need wonderglue, we take for adhesive!

There is a recipe in the cooking menu under "util" called 'Vegetable Paste'. If you break down this paste it becomes (5 adhesives)... yes you heard right... FIVE ADHESIVES!

The recipe:
- 3 mutfruit,
- 3 corn
- 3 tato
- 1 Purified Water

Plant mutfruits, corn and tato in your gardens.

Mix 3 mutfruits, 3 corn and 3 tatos with purified water to get vegtable starch, scrap vegtable starch to get 5 adhesive. I hardest plat to find is mutfruits, not confused with "wild mutfruits" which are easy to find. I simply sneaked down to Diamond City and picked the up the plants there.

I'm constantly shocked that people find adhesive scarce. Are other people just not looting stuff while they play? Or is everyone grinding out xp by mass producing dozens of the same mod over and over?

Vegetable starch, as others have mentioned. Also FYI x3 dirty water can be turned into purified water.

Vegetable starch. Start crafting it.
You will need 3 corn, 3 mutfruit, 3 tato and 1 purified water, and it gives you 5 adhesive. While doing Minuteman quests you will get plenty of settlements that produce these resources.

Thanks, didnt know about the starch, that could be a good source. I also wondered wether or not the scrapping stations generate adhesive once in a while as i have no idea which resources they actually generate.

I have and overabundance of adhesive. Screws on the other hand... I am scrounging for more of those than I do for my real job.
