edit: trust me emp shielding is hella nice thing to have.. you think it will never happen to you but it happens... and it sucks. sacrifice a few points of energy protection for emp resistance... its worth it
There are no EMP grenades. ffs
Pulse grenades/mines.
Prism makes you take less Energy Damage in general from ALL Energy Sources aka Flames, Plasma, Electrical, Energy, Gas, and Cyro. It also reflects 30% of Energy Damage in a random direction but you still take the full hit.
EMP Shielding has a Natrual damage reduction of about 20ish% from Plasma (plasma weaponry and explosives), Electrical (Tesla Cannon, Tesla Arc, Pulsa), and Energy (Laser Rifles, Gattling Laser) but you take slight more damage from Flame, Gas, and Cryo. So Generally EMP Shielding is the better alternitive so you get a damage reduction.
Also While Pulse does not do alot of damage on its own. It does Sap Energy away from your Core in both Weapons and Armor if you are using a core IN Them. Without EMP shield its gernally 60% to 20% depending on your energy resistance. but EMP Shield Negates the Loss Alltogther.
like i know radiation is good against the children of atom with the gamma rays but not many other enemies use gamma / radiation aside from spittle and nuclear ghouls. But im talking like in terms of weapons from ranged attacked like more than 10 ft.
It's probably like that because ♥♥♥♥ all else you can't rechatge them.
On that note if the mod ever is made is there a fusion core extender script /mod or multiple cores into 1 suit mod that adds several so you don't constantly have to be entering and exiting the suits?
they're not as much a threat once you get used to using trees and obstacles / building as cover. Mini nukes especially suck in 4 (well all fallouts lol) where they actually pre-dedonate if they touch even the corner of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ large hitbox.
