PSA Upgrade Your Vault 111 Suit!

I intially thought it sucked and switched over to riding leathers, which provide ballistic defense. But once I discovered armor upgrading, I found out the V111 suit has crazy good upgrade stats. I don't remember the stats, but first upgrade gives like 10+ energy and rad resistance, 2nd 20+ resistance and so on. For an undergarment it's got great resistances to go under your combat armor.

The main thing you forgot to mention, is that you need SCIENCE perks to make the best two versions. (Armorer 4, Science 2. And Armorer 4, Science 4).

But yes, being able to have a bit of extra Radiation resistance, let alone Energy resistance, that fits under armor is nice.

You could probably find some more if you went back to Vault 111 though.

Yes using that also, i have armorer and science both at 4.

If you sold yours there are others in vault 111, and in other vaults too.

Well I would guess the other Vault suits would carry similar upgrade paths.

I knew as soon as I saw the stats on the Vault Suit that it would be incredibly useful as it provided 5 energy resistance and 10 radiation resistance, something that most armor pieces I was picking up at the time did not provide.

You can probably look for Vault Suits from other vaults and see if they have similar stats if you sold your 111 suits.

Look on the bright side, at least you aren't running around in clothes that haven't been washed in over 200 years. My character's stank kills Deathstalkers at 200 paces.

Don't quote me on this, coz I'm not too sure, but it seems like Vault suits are the only upgradeable clothing.

yea i found this out early in the game and have been using vault 111 with leather so far lol

There are plenty of V-111 suits thrown around Vault 111 in the little sacks you see when you first get them. I believe there are 3-5?
