Question about "End of the Line" quest

So, I decided I want to side with the railroad. I been doing what the institute wanted, but helping the raidroad during the missions when I can. Now I get to this quest, and it seems like the game wants me to kill Desdemona. I alerted her about it, but it wont change the objective of the quest. What am I suppose to do?

I guess it's the "End of the line" for Desdemona.

My real suggestion would be to find the console command to move the quest to the next stage. While I don't know the right one you can probably find it somewhere online. I know it involves the setstage command but that is all I know.

apparently I just had to wait out in the main entrance for a good minute or two. lol. jfc bethseda...

Main entrance to where? I'm still trying to figure out what to do.

Ditto. Desdemons says to waste time, so I've been just going around doing other quests, but it has been several days(in game and RL) and...nothing. Still got the quest to kill Desdemona.

I progressed the main story by waiting inside the institute. A synth talked to me and said "eyyy go to your room and talk to Z1 bbyyyyy"

Same issue here. I can't warn Desdemona and the Underground Undercover quest is stuck.

BUT I FOUND A SOLUTION :)

I manually completed the "Underground Undercover" mission, in the console :
CompleteQuest RR201

Then I went in the Institude where a Synth told me to go talk to Z1-14. As I didn't have the cursor to find him, I teleported to him :
player.moveto 000d3cba

Then I went to the Railroad HQ to talk to Desdemona.

And then "Precipe Of War" quest started.

If it's not really the same bug as me, maybe you can try the "CompleteQuest" with others quest.
You can type "sqt" in the console to get your current Quest ID.
