Can someone explain why TotalBiscuit has any respect?

I was watching Trump on Twitch and TotalBiscuit was doing nothing but down talking Battlefront and then started down talking Fallout 4.

So I started arguing with him saying he thinks both those games are terrible yet he praises and thinks LotV is the best thing to date. I started to call him an egotistical douchebag thats the reason he blocks his comments and only lets people talk about his videos via his subreddit.

Why is that idiot respect again when it comes to gaming?

No you don't. And the interface designers are a bit moronic for going with the interface they did as the FO4 interface is horrendous. A bad interface is one of the reasons that FF14 had to spend a year in redevelopment.

Also note that directly calling someone a bad name is different from calling people who aren't present morons.

So being present or not means you can call them morons and it's allowed? How so? I would love to hear.

The OP's claims make very little difference in my overall view of TB to be honest. So you might call me biased....and you would be right. But I think TB is toxic....thats it. He hasn't done one positive thing. He has just drummed up poison and vitriol.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed his video of him playing Huniepop with his wife. That was funny as hell. And that's about the only TB video I've seen.

Because he's very upfront and honest with everything. I personally disagree with him and agree with him in equal measure, but I have nothing but respect for him because of the fact that he's very very clear about his motivations, reasoning, and thought process.

Even when I think he's wrong, I respect how well he illustrates his points. Better a jerk who's 100% upfront, honest, and clear about it than someone who's trying to hide it.

He is making a claim about why he got banned and saying that because he was justified in saying what he did and because he was banned despite being justified then TB therefore deserves no respect.

But that is only a claim, and not only are we only seeing the OPer's version of what happened, we aren't even actually seeing what happened. But there is no proof to substantiate the OPer's claim that he was justified, we have to actually discret the OPer's statements that he was banned despite being justified and therefore only read the OPer's statement that TB does not deserve any respect for which we have no real reasoning because we had to discredit the OPer's claims unsubstantiated claims.

It doesn't matter that the OPer knows why he got banned, we, the intended audience, need to be told by the OPer got banned. And only then can be we believe the OPer that TB doesn't deserve respect.

Expect Fallout 4 isn't even a port, the engine could use a little love, I have no complaints about the interface (my opinion)

I knew I would get banned for calling him a douchebag (which sorry he is).

I am asking why is he respect in the gaming industry when he is an egotistical douchebag.

He is egotistical and thinks his opinion > others.

You can't really disagree with him or think he is wrong and argue since you can only say anything about his videos through his subreddit and anything you say wrong about him or his videos are shut down or downvoted by all his white knights and fanboys.
